FAQ
Thank you for reading through these before asking a question. :)
- Do you have This Movie?
- Do you have This Show?
Please check the tags before asking. If you don’t know how, instructions can be found in this post. If it’s not posted, I don’t have it. I can try to find it, but please understand that it will take time.
- This file won’t play.
- This video has no sound.
You should download VLC media player. Many of these files will not play in Media Player. Other players often fail to play sound. In general, VLC will make your life much easier in the piracy game. It plays pretty much every format and it has codecs to fix broken files. :)
- This movie is only 15 minutes long.
- This show is only 5 minutes long.
Check the file size on the download page. Is your downloaded file the same size? If it is and the file is still short, please send me an ask letting me know which file and I will reupload. If it’s NOT the same size, you will need to download again. The file must have broken during download (usually due to connection issues), but you are using a player with codecs to fix broken files. Well done there. :)
- What is a rar file? How do I get the music/books? What do you mean by “extract” the files.
First you will need to choose an extractor. You can download one from CNET. They are the best. They help us avoid spyware and viruses. (I would suggest Winrar. It will work on a whole host of file extensions.) Then, see this post for instructions. Your extractor might be different than mine, use the help menu in the program if you have difficulty or pick a different one.
- Is fileserve free? I can’t download this file from fileserve.
Please see this post for instructions.
- Why don’t you use megaupload/other upload sites?
Please see this post for more information.
- Will you reupload this show in mp4/mkv/etc. instead of avi/mp4/etc.?
Prolly not. If you want to change the files, you can download a converter. I always use CNET for this purpose. They have reviews to let you know which programs are superior. Hopefully this will assist you in future downloading as well if you are set on a certain file type.
- Will we get in trouble for downloading your files?
Highly unlikely. If you are super-paranoid, you should probably pay for netflix, hulu or something else. Generally, what gets people in trouble with their ISPs is torrenting. This is file-sharing. These files are belong to us. We share with you.
- Will I get a virus from downloading your files?
Either zeddscat or I have downloaded and uploaded all these files. Neither of us have any viruses. We do both use Symantec and run constant checks to keep our computers safe. I would strongly suggest that you do the same. If you don’t have access to an Anti-Virus program, I have uploaded a few for you. I tried to cover all the bases I could. If you have the 32bit Windows 7 for PC or a newer Mac, sorry. To run any of these antivirus programs, you will need to delete any other anti-virus software completely from your computer before installation.
